Founder and Managing Partner

 

Mr. Nathanson is the founder and Managing Partner of Nathanson and Company based in Westport, Ct.  With 30 years of experience leading business transformations, outsourcing, M&A activity, consulting companies and driving the strategy and operations at over 100 outsourcing engagements for service providers and clients, Mr. Nathanson is a recognized expert in these areas.

 

At Nathanson and Company, Mr. Nathanson has led numerous large engagements for global clients such as Toshiba, BVMF BOVESPA, HP, Hitachi, Lenovo, Dimension Data, Genworth, Qwest, Advantest, AIG, Sprint and others.

 

Previously Mr. Nathanson was President of ENTEX Information Services, an outsourcing and consulting firm that is now Siemens IT Solutions.  His clients included Microsoft, Met Life, Coca Cola, Intel, U.S. West, The Guardian, Cigna and GTE.  Under Mr. Nathanson the Service business grew from $180M to over $500M in three years as margins doubled.  Mr. Nathanson, his team and their client, Microsoft won the outsourcing relationship of year award in 1998.

 

Prior to ENTEX, Mr. Nathanson was the founder and CEO of FCP Technologies, a Maryland-based consulting firm which focused on networked computing and business process reengineering.  The company acquired operations throughout the northeast and grew to a run rate of over 100MM before being sold to ENTEX in 1996.  The company served Bell Atlantic, the states of Delaware, New Jersey, Massachusetts, The International Monetary Fund, SEI Financial, Rite Aid, Hughes, Keiser Permanente and The Equitable.  FCP was named to the INC 500 and LAN 100.

 

Before founding FCP, Mr. Nathanson was an executive with United Department stores where he held the positions of Buyer, Director of Strategic Planning, Director of Corporate Merchandising, Vice President of Advertising and Marketing and finally, Vice President of Operations.  He led the strategic planning for the acquisition that involved the purchase of 3 department and specialty store chains with 100 locations and $300M in revenue.  After the acquisition he was responsible for the consolidation of the merchandising, advertising and marketing functions for the acquired operations and the existing operations.

 

Prior to that, Mr. Nathanson was an Independent Theatrical Producer.
